Central AC & Heat Pump Replacement in Santa Clarita
If your AC or heat pump is over 12-15 years old, breaking down every season, or driving up your utility bills, replacement usually pays for itself faster than another repair bill.
Preciado Air Conditioning replaces central air conditioners and heat pumps with energy-efficient equipment from trusted brands like Trane, sized correctly for your Santa Clarita property using Manual J load calculations, not guesswork.
We handle permits, ductwork, electrical, and final testing, and every new installation comes with manufacturer and labor warranty coverage. Flexible financing is available.
Preciado Air Conditioning serves Santa Clarita homeowners and property managers with full central air conditioning and heat pump replacement — from initial load calculation through final startup and testing. Because replacement work often means a larger project than a same-day repair, our Santa Clarita coverage extends beyond our core Antelope Valley service radius, so homeowners here get the same licensed installation team and upfront, written estimate before any work begins.
Signs It's Time to Replace Your AC or Heat Pump
Not sure if you need a repair or a full replacement? Watch for these signs: your system is 12+ years old, repair costs keep climbing, your energy bills have crept up without explanation, or parts of your home never cool evenly. If any of these sound familiar, a free replacement quote will tell you exactly where you stand.
Maintenance for Newly Installed Systems in Santa Clarita
Every AC and heat pump replacement we install in Santa Clarita comes with the option of a seasonal maintenance plan to protect your investment and keep your new system's manufacturer warranty valid.
Once your new system is installed, a seasonal maintenance plan keeps the manufacturer's warranty intact and helps the equipment run efficiently through Santa Clarita's hot summers. Ask your installing technician about scheduling your first maintenance visit before you're billed for the installation — it's easiest to set up while the crew is already on site.
AC & Heating Installation in Santa Clarita

Why Santa Clarita Homeowners Choose Preciado
Preciado Air Conditioning has completed hundreds of installations across the Antelope Valley and Santa Clarita Valley and maintains a 4.8-star rating across 23 verified Google reviews. Every replacement includes a written, upfront estimate before work begins — no surprise costs after the job is done. For larger systems, ask about available financing options to spread the cost of a full AC or heat pump replacement. If your current system is paired with ductwork that also needs attention, our team can evaluate whether a full HVAC Replacement makes more sense than replacing the AC or heat pump alone.

Customer Testimonials
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
“Mario and his HVAC team are truly exceptional. They went above and beyond to design a customized duct system perfectly suited for my home, along with the ideal condenser to ensure optimal heating and air conditioning. Unlike other HVAC specialists I've worked with in the past, who offered a one-size-fits-all approach, Mario provided a personal touch that made all the difference. I highly recommend their services for anyone looking for top-notch HVAC solutions tailored to their specific needs.”

How long does an AC or heat pump replacement take in Santa Clarita?
